A rainy day, a book and a great view of the city, and a steaming cup of coffee, would just make our Day.
Does it seem exciting?
Did you ever think how coffee is made?
The seeds are planted and taken care of till they are completely grown. Then the cherries are pulped, fermented, dried, stored, roasted, grounded and brewed, finally it lands in our hands. If the coffee seed would not have gone through the struggle we would not have the perfect cup of coffee. Similarly Jesus took all the pain and the burden of our sin on Himself and died on the cross so that you and I can have eternal life. He went through all the beating and crushing just like the coffee seeds so that we can live with the aroma called Salvation.
We were gentiles, we were people away from God, but it was he who loved us and bought us by his His precious blood and washed away each and every sin of ours, making us His own.
C.O.F.F.E.E. - "Christ Offers Forgiveness For Everyone Everywhere "
Forgiveness is the word that we talk about very often. But do we understand what it really means?
Forgiveness does not change the past but it does change the future. God hates the sin not the sinner. God cares about you not your sin.
This reminds me of a story in the Bible about a sinful woman who barged into a dinner party. She heard that Jesus was invited and she came to meet Him face to face.
Luke 7:36-50, says that she began to weep so much that she wet the feet of Jesus with her tears, wiped them with her hair, kissed them and broke the alabaster jar and poured the perfume on them.
When the people around saw the woman at the feet of Jesus, they said that if this man is truly the Son Of Man, he would know who this woman really was. Then Jesus decides to tell them a parable of two men who owed money to a lender. One owed 500 and the other owed 50. But none of them had the money to payback. So the lender decides to let go off the debt. Then Jesus asks them (the people) which of the two men will love the lender more? Everyone quickly answered the one who owed the most.
For he who has been forgiven more loves more, but he who has been forgiven little, loves little.
Dear Reader, REMEMBER you might be lost, broken, torn, hurt, hopeless, depressed, alone, afraid, abandoned, forgotten and heart broken.
You've been travelling down this path for far too long. You think you are gone too far.
You think you are worthless and nobody loves you.
You think none can forgive you because of your wrong deeds.
You try to go out, looking for love in many ways Money, Internet, love affairs and Drugs thinking all these will fill the void you are undergoing, but none will quench your thirst. You think you are hopeless and there is none to love you.
YOU ARE WRONG !!!!
Because God is ever so lovingly waiting with arms wide open to forgive you and to take you into HIS arms.
John 3:16 says - "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son...."
The Lord is ready to forgive and saying "I Love you Child, Come to me."
Just as an eraser erases the marks of the pencil, the blood of Jesus cleanseth us from all sin.
Just like I said without a cup of coffee our day is incomplete, in the same manner without Jesus and HIS Love and Forgiveness. We are incomplete.
So enjoy your New world of Forgiveness and
Keep TRENDING FOR CHRIST,
By HIS Grace,
JAMIE DORCAS.
