Priceless Pearl

A Pearl is of utmost value not only because of its beauty, but also because of the way in which it is formed. Pearls of great value are obtained in the deep layers of the sea.

The oysters live on the Water Bed of the Sea. They are the animals with two hemispheres glues together. The inner lining of each hemisphere is laden with rich frothy substance, called the Mother Pearl. The Mother Pearl happens to be sticky and soft like a cushion.

Formation of the pearl starts by an oyster's internal response to a wound caused by an irritant such as a grain of sand. When a grain or an irritant works its way into a particular species of oyster, mussel, or clam, as a defense mechanism the whole organism responds by secreting a series of fluid to coat the irritant. Layer upon layer of this is deposited on the irritant, which results in a "Priceless Pearl."

The presence of the rough sand particle results in the making of the priceless pearl. How true of the believer too?

Dear Reader, the presence of troubles, tests and trials turns all of us into a valuable pearls.

The Bible says in Romans 8:28 - "And we know that all things work together for good for those who trust in His name."

At times life does not go the way we have planned, and everything might seem to be out of place but remember the Lord is working on us.

He is preparing us for better things, that are going to bring Joy and Happiness into our lives.

" Stars cannot shine without Darkness " in the same way without the dark times we cannot become those shinning pearls.

All I want you to remember is that, The world is the Oyster. The Sand particle is you and me, we entered the world as Sinners and unworthy people. But our Lord Jesus Christ loved us and covered us with the layers of his beautiful gift of salvation and made us His own Priceless Pearl.

And nothing can stop us from being HIS Amazing Pearl.

God has promised in his word that no matter what, he is never going to leave us nor forsake us. He is the very same God who created us and loved us even before the foundations of the Earth were laid.

Just like how the Mother Oyster takes time to turn the irritant into a Pearl, trails too go a long way in shaping us into strong believers. It helps us to acquire valuable lessons that we need in our Spiritual life.

May the Lord help us to live as a Priceless Pearl.

And Keep KEEP TRENDING FOR CHRIST,

By HIS Grace,

JAMIE DORCAS
