COVID 19 - GOD'S PROTECTION

The corona virus disease is spreading rapidly around the world. The recorded number of cases are 72.3 Million, the recorded number of recovered cases are 47.3 Million and the recorded number of deaths are 1.61 Million. The numbers continue to increase daily, and the disease has impacted about 188 countries all over the world.

Can we stop it?

No! we cannot.

Can we try and change all that has happened ?

that's impossible.

So what should we do about the entire situation?

We should Trust God and His protection.

Many of us are believers , trusting in The Great Almighty,yet we live in hopelessness and in defeat. This happens when we don't take hold of all the promises that God made in his Covenant with us.

God has big plans for each one of us,

We need to remember that we have great and mighty angels by our side at all times as the Bible says in

Psalm 34:7 "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them."

As humans, we expect God's protection to keep us from all harm. Yes, God can keep us from trouble and evil. Many times, God works in ways that we do not understand. God is sovereign in accomplishing HIS will and thats the reason some are healed and some are not.We cannot question God.

Inspite of all the trouble, nothing will be able to seperate us from the Lord.

The following Bible verses about God's protection will help you focus on knowing there is a bigger plan and God has chosen you for greater things!

1. GUARD US AGAINST EVIL

2 Thessalonians 3:3 - "But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one."

Yes ! it's not the mask or the sanitizer that is going to keep us safe, but it is our Lord Jesus Christ. And all we need to do is trust HIM, because he is faithful.

2. COVER US WITH HIS WINGS

Psalm 91:4 - "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart."

The Lord is our shield and nothing can harm us.

3. LIFT US UP

Psalm 91:11,12 - "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot."

The Lord has put the angels in charge of us, and the angels surround us with a hedge of protection. They lift us up and carry us in the times of trouble so that we don't get hurt.

4. WATCHES OVER US

Psalm 121:8 - " The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."

The Lord neither slumbers nor sleep, He will keep a watch over us forever. Every time and Every where he makes sure we are safe and sound. Not even for a second does he turn away from us.

5. A HOLY HELPER

Isaiah 41:10 - "..... Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Our Father is always going to help us out with every situation of our life, and uphold us with his righteous right hand.

The LORD has promised in his word that we are safe with him, cause we are HIS and we are HIS children. Not only did he promise but has proved his Faithfulness everytime.

Now it is our turn to trust the LORD with every thing, because he is doing the thinking for us. All we need to do is trust HIM and live for Him.

Our Christian life is all about walking by Faith and not by sight.

Let's show complete Faith in HIM and Shine For HIM.

May the LORD keep us all Safe.
