For Valentine’s Day people all over the world give cards and flowers and express their feelings to the ones they love.
But How Deep is this Love?
Will this Love be able to sacrifice anything for us?
Will this Love stand with us at all times?
Maybe Not Always.
Then where do we Find Love that is Pure and Forever?
The answer to this question is found in John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Here are 10 reasons that no matter what Jesus Christ is the perfect Valentine.
1. Jesus Died For Us.
Romans 5:8 - "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Jesus died on the cross and sacrificed himself just that you and I can live a life filled with Love and happiness. He took up all the beating and suffering just to ease us out of the punishment we deserved. He shed every ounce of his precious blood so that our sins might be forgiven. He took all our sins upon him and made us free. His Love is never ending because after being buried Jesus rose again on the third day and continued loving us.
2. He Gave us a Gift.

Ephesians 2:8 - "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God."
Our Lord Jesus Christ blessed us with an amazing gift of Salvation. This gift leads us to eternal happiness and Love. Not like the worldly temporary gifts that only last for few days.
Salvation is all about accepting the Lord as our personal Savior, and asking him to wash away all our sins in HIS precious blood. Through Salvation we become HIS own.
3. He Intercedes For Us.

Romans 8:34 - "...... It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us."
Our Lord prays for us at the feet of the Heavenly father. As Jesus is the anchor between us and the Father, when ever we happen to get into something wrong, He intercedes on behalf of us. He requests the Father not to punish us according to our sins.
Jesus will never hate us nor leave us due to our wrong doings, like the people around us.
4. He is Preparing a Place For Us.

John 14:2 - "In My Father’s house are many mansions; ........ I go to prepare a place for you."
Jesus has promised us a royal life in Heaven. Heaven is a place made up of gold and all the precious jewels with angels singing and praising God.
When we leave the world with Jesus in our hearts, we will then join the beautiful kingdom of heaven which is going to last forever.
We are unworthy to enter into his kingdom, yet through his blood he made us worthy and now with Jesus as our Lord we have the Most Amazing Kingdom waiting for us.
5. He is going to Comeback For Us.

John 14:3 - "And if I go and prepare a place for you,I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
As of now Jesus is in heaven, But one final day which is referred to as the "Second Coming", Jesus is going to come back and take us all to heaven.
He is no where like the people around us who walk away and never turn nor come back to us. Not only is he going to take us back to his Kingdom, but is also going to give us a crown of Life.
6. He fights for Us.

Deuteronomy 20:4 - "For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory."
We don't need to worry about ourselves, cause Jesus is in control of everything. He is going to stand as strong as a rock before us and fight all our battles, and all we need to do is trust HIM.
We don't need to worry about our future, career, relationships, finances nothing because everything is already taken care of. Jesus is going to make all the crooked paths straight.
7. He watches over Us.

Genesis 28:15 - "Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go........"
Our world can at times be scary. With so much uncertainty we might feel vulnerable and confused. We don't need to get paranoid cause Jesus is watching over us 24*7, he watches every move and action of ours. Our Lord does not slumber nor does he sleep.
its human tendency to forget things when we fall asleep but that not the case with Jesus, he does not slumber nor does he sleep cause he's really busy watching over us.
8. He carved us on His palms.

Isaiah 49:16 - "See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands;....."
Being engraved on the palms of Jesus means we are safe in the permanence of His grace. No matter how much we fail Him; and how many times we choose our wills over His, there is no change in His love toward us. He will not “erase” our names out of the palms of His hands. He does not want us to get out of His sight.
This is the amount of importance the Lord has for us.
9. He will never leave Nor Forsake us.

Deuteronomy 31:8 - "And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”
This is an eternal promise from Jesus that He will never leave or forsake us. This promise is not only comforting, but also provides us the courage courage to follow Christ.
Even in the darkest phases and the most depressing times, he's going to be right there with us. In fact in such times Jesus is going to carry us in his arms and guide us through it.
10. He Loved, Loves and will Love Us Forever.

Jeremiah 31:3 - “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;..."
The word everlasting means lasting forever, and so does the Love of Jesus. There is nobody who can love us as Jesus does. Cause he know us even before we were formed in our mother's womb.
Everything in this world has only 3 dimensions i.e length, breath and either height or depth (only one) but the Love of GOD has 4 dimensions i.e length, breath, height and depth.
As people of today's generation, we might at times feel dejected that we don't have our special one or maybe we lost the one that we loved very dearly. The best part is that when we have Jesus in our lives, everyday is a Valentine's day, all we need to remember is that Jesus is waiting to have that intimate relationship with us.
So my Dear Reader,
Lets make a decision to make Jesus the Valentine of our lives. As the world outside celebrates a week of valentines with the rose, chocolate and etc. days. Let us all work towards building our Spiritual life day after day by, meditating on God's word, Singing and praising him, Spending time at HIS feet and continue to grow in faith.
And KEEP TRENDING FOR CHRIST
By HIS Grace,
JAMIE DORCAS.
